I love me a quick and easy birthday card. Especially if it looks not so quick and not so easy:
Looks super complicated to get all those snappy little shapes and colors, right? Wrong! All you need is a 1″ square punch and a corner rounder!
Here’s the supply list:
- *Retro Fresh DSP (#132993)
- Very Vanilla CS (#101650)
- 1″ Square Punch (#124094)
- *Corner Rounder (#119871)
- *Retro Fresh Washi Tape (#133001)
All you need to do is punch 6 or so squares from the Retro Fresh DSP and round the opposing corners. Arrange them on a piece of Very Vanilla CS (cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and then folded in half). Trim overhanging Retro Fresh DSP. Cut a strip of Very Vanilla CS and stamp a greeting. Use Retro Fresh Washi Tape to embellish the flag and adhere with a dimensional. And you are done! Voila!
Here’s another similar card using the mosaic punch (#131267) instead:
Instead of the Retro Fresh Washi Tape you can use an *In-Color Boutique Details (#130938) for your embellishment on this card and change out the greeting for whatever suits your needs. This card is also stepped up a bit more by putting the entire Very Vanilla card front onto a Coastal Cabana CS (#131297) card base.
Don’t forget that this weekend is the last chance to get your favorite retiring products. And if you order by Saturday you can still qualify to get my May Online Craft Class FREE with your purchase of $35 (or more). So what are you waiting for? Start filling that shopping cart!
